The Humdrum

Soundhouse: The Listening Body

A powerful immersive audio experience woven from anecdotes of micro-aggressions faced by minorities in everyday life.

Guests are invited to participate and leave their own experiences or reflections on a piece of paper in an artist-designed 'Humdrum Box' at the exit.

This project was created by Stance Podcast, an award-winning podcast covering arts, culture and current affairs, from diverse, global perspectives. Hosted by Heta Fell in San Francisco and Chrystal Genesis in London.

Newly commissioned for the Soundhouse project and is one of the events happening as part of the month-long installation Soundhouse: The Listening Body.

Participants will receive a copy of the printed guide accompanying Soundhouse: The Listening Body (worth £4) featuring newly-commissioned essays and illustrations.
